We are committed to excellence in promoting diverse, engaging first instruction and meaningful learning opportunities with the "whole child" in mind. Our students are self-empowered individuals who persevere to solve problems while being resourceful, innovative, and socially conscious thinkers for their immediate future and beyond.

At the April 8 Board of Education meeting, the Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) Board approved adopting a new History–Social Science curriculum, Social Studies Weekly, for students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
At the Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD), we deeply value the voices and experiences of our students, families, and staff. As part of our ongoing commitment to listen, learn, and continuously improve, CVESD partners with Hanover Research to administer an End-of-Year Survey that provides important insight into how we can strengthen the learning environment for every student.

At EastLake Elementary School, fifth grade student Estella Madrigal is known for her bright outlook, determination, and the way she embraces every opportunity that comes her way.
Whether she is serving on Safety Patrol, cheering on her classmates, or taking on new adventures, Estella approaches life with confidence and enthusiasm. But her journey to this moment has been one of remarkable strength.
