Makerspace

Heritage is proud to offer an innovative learning opportunity with the Makerspace. The Makerspace is a classroom that was converted into a collaborative space for students to invent, learn, and explore. At the Makerspace the students take what they have learned in the classrooms and are challenged to develop innovative ways to create solutions to societal problems. These projects in turn teach them foundational skills related to engineering, coding and the visual arts. Currently in our Makerspace we have Osmos, Spheros, Snap Circuit Kits, Legos, a Green screen, and engineering materials. We continuously work to expand our Makerspace to give each student authentic experiences that connect them to the world outside the classroom and to help them develop the skills necessary for success academically and in their future careers.
